Sponsorship
What does a sponsorship actually fund?
Sponsorships cover the real cost of a stretch of the road — instrument care, travel between stops, documentation of the journey, and small stipends for host organizations. Every tier lists what a gift underwrites so you know exactly where it lands.Do sponsors get recognition?
Yes. Depending on tier, sponsors are named on the campaign page, in journey updates from the stops they fund, in the annual Impact Report, and in end-of-year thank-yous. If you prefer to give privately, we honor that too.
Volunteering
How much time does volunteering take?
Most volunteer roles are a few hours a month — hosting a stop, capturing photos or notes from a visit, or helping coordinate a keeper handoff. A handful of roles (documentation leads, regional coordinators) ask for more; those are always opt-in.Do I need to be a musician to volunteer?
No. We need hosts, drivers, writers, photographers, translators, teachers, and event organizers as much as we need players. Tell us what you can offer and we will match you to a role that fits.
